I need new some new forks and a headset but I fancy sticking a quill stem on there instead.
The bent forks were 1" threadless with 200mm steerer so I assume I need 1" threaded but do I need to worry about the diameter of the headtube, do headsets have different round fitting thingstuff?
Basically which is usually the cheapest option if both 1" and 1"1/8 fit?
Back on the steerer length. Do I need one with 200mm including thread - does the minimum thread have to match the stack height.
Need to know this stuff before I go robbing peoples parts bins without dragging the carcass around with me.
