Ok so test number 2 involves using another bottom bracket i have thats an old 3 piece
using that i can get the left side in all the way but if i put the right side in all the way the axle doesn't spin freely
loosening the left side a little allows the axle to spin, could be an issue with no lub'd ball bearings,
but the test was mainly so see whether the left side screwed in which it does, so it must be the plastic cup
