It is an old frame but the threads go all the way down the BB, looking at the cup next to the threading there doesnt seem to be any reason for it not to go on far enough
The threads inside the frame are deep at least deep enough to thread most of the shell but only 4 or 5 rings of threading of the plastic cup are goings into the frame
some more pics,
In this one it shows the cup, the first red line from the left shows roughly where the threading starts, the other bit is smooth and slots over the actual BB when inserted,
The second red line is the distance it actually threads, (not very far..)
and you can see the threadings quite deep
