Another question.
I've had a cx/tourer project for about a year now. My girlfriend probably wants a bike... so I'm thinking about "lending" it to her.
The problem is she will need risers or similar rather than drops. I would like to use these Tekro FL750 brakes - which are normal mtb diameter.
I would also like to use DA bar end shifters.
The obvious choice seems to be paul thumbies, but I need the BB thread chased, and to build the wheels, and £50 just to be able to use some shifters I already have seems to be taking the piss.
The other option I thought was to find some mostashe bars which are both 22.2/ standard mtb and can take bar ends.
Does anyone have any other suggestions?
