Fixed Super Light Super Safe

I was more wondering if he had plans to ride this long distance lightweight long distance.

If not, why not a build a short distance lightweight bike? Surely it will make him smile more?

Otherwise he's building a bike which from the off is not suitable for purpose.

The long distance I guess would be for the comfort thing. I can ride almost any of my fixed stiff track geo bikes for short distances. But I think im compromising on weight by using a proper track frame when it doesnt need to be as stiff (as DJ points out).
