    Also it's only 24mm deep isn't it? Surely you're better off with something similar/or higher weight so you can bring the spoke numbers down.

    Given Ian's weight (no offence) I'd go for something a bit deeper and stronger on the rear to sacrafice some weight saving. Hence my suggested kinlin 380. Altho you'd have to stack up the difference in weight saving between loosing a couple of spokes and the saving of the stan's at 380-400g.

    Width: 23 mm
    Depth: 28 mm

    Extra depth *might *give some more strength on low spoke counts.
