  • Cheap Ti is likely to be heavier than steel as it will be plain gauge (from Mr Smiths old rants)

    It might be heavier than 853, but it'll be lighter than 631. The plain gauge stuff is aerospace industry stuff they just cut to length. That saves a ton of money and they can still be really nice.

    I was chatting to guy on a 200k ride a fortnight ago who was riding a ti Enigma and running it SS and 67gi. Lightweight wheels and 25c tyres. That was a pretty nice long distance / light(ish) setup.

    tl:dr

    Buy a Seta.
