I just saw The Raid on my own. Almost completely - only two other people in the screening which was a shame.
Ace film though. Gareth Edwards is basically my hero. Conceives and makes incredible films, pretty much on his own with piss-all budget. He wrote, directed and edited The Raid. When you see the technicality of some of the scenes - it's just astonishing for all that information to be going through one guys head. And Monsters with its ant-sized production budget. The guy is very special indeed.
