Video Games

Playing as a demon hunter having a lot of fun. Have just killed skeleton king then decided to call it a night. I can see myself sticking with this character right the way though as i really enjoy the play style of laying traps and dual wheeling cross bows.

Will be playing tomorrow night for sure so might see a few of you on there!

I probably won't be. Today, I got my monk up to level 20 and started a daemon hunter from scratch and got them to level 10. In other words, I've been playing way too much.

I blame being off work recovering from food poisoning while nursing a cold.

I don't see much appeal in diablo either... just doesn't look like my cuppa.

Loved skyrim though, so not sure why it wouldn't be good. Maybe it's just a little too 'geeky' for me.

That crossed my mind but I didn't want to cause any offence. I'll carry on playing flight sims instead.

Hmm Amazon dispatched my copy of D3 yesterday but says RoyalFail won't deliver it till Tuesday booo.

If anything Skyrim is more 'geeky' than Diablo 3.

Diablo is a proper hack and slash game. The RPG elements of the other games have been dumbed down this doesn't make the game worse It's much better imo.

I can see myself being hooked on D3 for a long time. I want to make my Demon Hunter in to the best character I can, which considering I'm only in normal and It's getting hard is going to be good fun :)

I think even down to the fact that I'd have to play it at work to play it at all, as I've no decent computers at home puts me off.

Almost a console only gaming household these days. I think if I went back to the days of playing CS/CSS all night and ignoring the wife things would turn ugly, quickly.

You don't really need a great computer to run it, that's the great appeal of it.

I still play CSS and Diablo 3 at the moment and still have a wife!

Steam is showing Max Payne as a prepurchase, not available till June 1st?

Probably B. But the fact we are living with in laws at the moment probably helps.

My laptop barely runs itunes. It'd implode if I tried to game on it.

Pretty much. In those 11 years I've stopped playing computer games that much, aside from the odd bit of Mario Kart, and anything of interest on iOS, but they all tend to be pick up and play games. So D3 is a bit of nostalgia really.

I'd be impressed if you could get it for that price. I paid the £45 from blizzard. Figured I'd get my moneys worth though.

Also steam sale on ubisoft this weekend.

I did have Farcry 2 before but sold it, I fancy giving it another go as it may be more exciting on PC. Anyone else played it?

Also tempted to give Ruse a go - really enjoyed the demo.

Well Max Payne 3 turned up... no sign of D3 though :(

I've had a couple of crashes with diablo 3 today. Both server side, no error message. First cunted my entire computer, had to restart, second quit the game with no warning message after map chunks failed to load and my party (5 strong with my mystic ally - WHO NEEDS MULTIPLAYER?!) just stopped following me like a bunch of panzies.

I'm going to walk all the way to blizzard and shit on them (once I'm over this godforsaken cold) if it happens again.

Left xbox at a friends house for the last week and a bit. Missing Trials :(
