2013-08-25 - Keirin! at Herne Hill

After having this idea back in 2007, we decided it's time to bring this back.....

A whole afternoon of nothing but Keirin racing, for the first time in the UK and at the perfect track for it, Herne Hill.

We will be creating a format where all racers will race a keirin at least three times (possibly more) with full rankings and major, minor, 3rd finals etc.

Would you know the max number of riders per race Winston?

We're going to have to juggle that as entries come in depending on interest.....probably working on:

32 men
16 women
24/32 Novices

We've already had requests for a vets cat form 2 masters champs to consider too.

or did you mean riders in each heat,? will be 6 or 8 I reckon.

Novices, please note the Herne Hill accreditation (or similar) plus attendance of a briefing prior to the race......required.

A few forum names popping up already in entries....

Please bear in mind, the Go-Race / Novice event is intended for just that, if you have a race license and have raced on the track before you should be entering the Senior Male event........

Do you need an up to date BC racing license or license for this?
Mine ran out and I can't be bothered to renew it for one race

day license for you in the men's...no sneaking into the novices!
