When I have more time I will read up on the genetics of hearing impairment- because I'm not sure about the truth of that statement- certainly it is true that more hearing impaired children are born of hearing parents, but I haven't had enough time to read whether that is simply due to sheer numbers, and I have other stuff I should probably be reading at the moment.

I like to know more about this, but a lots of information I found were about couple who want a deaf kids by design for some strange fucked-up reason.
