Yes, really, the environmental factors- from what I've read- seem to be antenatal/ or very early childhood- stages at which gene expression is going crazy to allow development/differentiation - so the environmental involvement would at most be an additional effect to the 'predisposition'.
a bit of perspective- I haven't really been following updates since 2006ish when there was a huge amount of work published- and I was a bit of a genetics geek.
