• manual sniping, getting the "you have been outbid" 2 seconds from the end (with someones max bid no doubt being 2 times as much as the item is worth, just because they can) then frantically trying to insert a massively inflated, well over budget bid that will never get through in time anyway.

• auto sniping. Logging into your email to find out that the bloody thing could not log into your ebay account properly and the item of course selling well below price.
  
  

Fuckers. I aint won no ebay bike bits in the last couple of months. I'm starting to feel like this addiction is wasting a lot of time...cheap though.
