  • Neither. Save your money for a proper watch. Or a bespoke frame.

  • Definitely the top one, bottom is uuuuuugly.

  • How much do they weigh?

  • Less than one of Dammit's turds.

  • What's the model number of the bottom one? I like it (and I have one of the top ones already).

A watch is a tool, one of these will be fine for my needs.

    How much do they weigh?

    No idea

I just browsed through the Creation Watches link posted above, it's on the first page.

  • Got it. SNZH71K1. Thanks.

  • ^^^^^What's the difference? Just an updated model???

    Mine is this style.

  • Yeah. Pretty sure it's just the new version of yours.

  • Mine is vintage now?

  • what a beauty, matey!

Just got home to find this waiting for me. Had this for over 20 years, and never been able to even have a shower wearing it.
Ken Setser, over in Florida, put a Rolex Trip-lock crown in it for me. He has had it since september, waiting for some parts.
Made the starp when I got the confirmation shipping email :)
This is probably as tough as you can get.

  • want of the day:

Nothing too fancy (or expensive) but i like it.

  • wa gwan? My Seiko sports 5 day and date is all effed up - how can I set so it doesn't turn into Thursday halfway through Wednesday morning?

  • You're 12 hours out dude.

  • Yer, wind it on a dozen hours

  • what a beauty, matey!

what sort of hour does it change at?

  • Should I risk giving the Omega a slap? It has an auto rotor which maybe makes it slightly less happy about being knocked about (I managed to break the rotor off once an it needed a new screw).

Just been in my watchmakers up in Edinburgh. He popped the back off, and unfortunately I've bent the balance spring.

He's going to try and manipulate it, but will let me know if it is to no avail, in which case it'll take more work.

Apparently these ETA movements don't have a regulator lever, so I wouldn't have been able to slow it down anyway.

  • Lum Tec anyone?

  • the font on the first lum tec is terrible.

  • Is that for people with poor eyesight ?? squinting

  • err...

it borrows from others innit. don't see what the problem is.

  • not as bad as the Panerai but still ugly.

  • Like the look of it, but the type ruined it.
