@ Scrafton, if it's the perfect size, I would say it's on the verge of reasonable. I hope you buy it, to stop me thinking about it. And do me a favour and put something more deserving on it, like campag record or dura ace.

I have a Tom Kellogg designed Merlin (not and extralight mind) its a beautifully made frame and a dream to ride. Wouldn't sell the frame for that much now, so you'll soon forget about the cost once you get on it. Enjoy!

and if you change your mind i'd prob stump up 900 smackers for that, even with veloce on it!

6.2 with Aksiums and Veloce?

The Aksiums without skewers/cassette/tyres are 1.9kg, that's an amazing weight it accurate.

How sure are you of this weight?

Beyond that, it looks like a great little bike.

Can't wait! Seller's friend is driving it down from Newcastle!

@sainsed - Noted but can only see me selling it on if it doesn't fit (99% sure it will though).

@dammit - I confirmed it on the phone, if the sellers lying i'm going to be really annoyed! it's weight was one of the main attractions.
'quite a bit under 14 pounds' - I'll take that accuracy.
