Mind control ftw!
I think the cleanest looking levers I used on the Popes were silver Paul Cross levers. The records/c-records were ok, but a bit clunky looking. I'll see if I can dig out some pics.
The bars have such a nice shape it is a shame to put anything on them...so yeah, back to mind control option..or bar ends could be a winner?
See what your saying about gum walls and wooden rims, could be a nasty clash! But have you had a look at the "extreme" or "carbon" tub. Veloflex give a nice ride and gotta be Italian right? That's where the saddle will let you down ;)
