48:20 is unsurprisingly rather spinny, I cycled in this morning with an 18T sprocket in my bag, and a chainwhip.
However, I think I'll leave it as is for a while to see how I get on with a mightly 63.3 gear inches.
The seatpost kept slipping down, I had greased it before fitting it, which may have been an error.
Wiping the grease off stopped that anyway.
All in all, very pleased with it. Now maybe some lighter wheels...
