Current Projects chat and miscellany

I'm trying to get my quill stem to go further into the headtube however it just won't go down anymore- its a good few inches from the bottom of the headtube and cant see anything prevent it going further down.

What am i doing wrong?

Possibility of brazing pin protruding into headtube? How old is the frame?
