Functional bikes. Not Porn not Anti

i am getting very tempted to hit go on the bike, i like the rim upgrade suggestion.

i may ask if i can offset the cost by supplying the headset - i have a chris king in the parts bin.

would rather stick with shimano

but i could possibly save myself approx £400 quid by using up the parts available, getting a set of hope hoops/stans wheels... and would then have my handlebars, stem, seatpost of choice

The rims are roughly the same price as Open sports. I'd try it on as a deal sweetner. For me the added width without any weight penalty is a no brainer. These, with XT hubs, are going to be a nice reliable wheelset.
