2012-05-13 - Oxford town and gown race

Most complicated ride evaaaaar! I thought this was as simple as riding from London to Oxford and watching/participating in a run. Over dramatic epic to-do list:

• Dress up like Mary Poppins
  
• Make a chimney sweep and use it to duff up an add lee cab
  
• Choose a departure point
  
• Book a train ticket or join groupsave gang
  
• Work out what the significance of the magnificent 7 is and whether I should try to join their club
  
• Attend the pre-ride meetup ... oh wait ...
  
• Wise up/fix up/htfu and actually make the effort to re-read the last 6-7 pages of this thread
