There has been a lot of talk about holding lines etc. This was indeed not a pro race, and there were some people who dont race much, me included. I was glad to make it into the final, but I knew I was way off the pace of the fast guys, so I was content to stay out of trouble in the final, and give everyone a wide berth, once things started to hot up.

In all I thought it was great fun, and the inclusive nature of the open entry allows me, a 30 something with a mild bike obsession but no racing pedigree to get on the track and mix it up with some really quick chaps from all over the world.
