I don't see the attraction with this style at all. Not even fresh when the colours are all there and the lines are sharp. Imagine what it'll look like in 10 years.
That's awesome. The shading is fantastic. Only thing I'm not sure about is the fingers, but it would be presumptious of me to pretend to know better. Eckel's work is awesome. He's been in my homeland for a while, but just left the shop to go travelling. I really like this piece of his as well:
