as ed said, rear cog is easier and cheaper to change. DA are good and well priced (available from Condor), but they probably don't go high enough. Condor own brand have also served me well.
You will probably have a 1/8 chain/ring/cog rather than a 3/32.
Remember to use grease on the threads when changing them.

yeah, I was thinking it might be easier to get a new sprocket, which I have done with other bikes in the past, but I was looking to upgrade my chainring anyway so thought I might be able to go for a two birds, one stone type scenario.
