    Mr 52/15 would have to go around 28mph to be doing a moderate 100rpm (which is a good cadence to be aiming for on the road) it's risible to hear people saying that 70-80GI is "too spinny".

    I'm getting to the point and think 46:16 is getting spinier. But there is no point in going higher as there is enough metal on the road to be avoided with a gear you can move on quicker rather than having pure top speed.

    That said, training will make you go higher. Certain aspects of terrain will affect your choice, and of course bragging. :)
