Cosmic Carbones make a pretty good fist of that hollow "shooooooooooooo" noise.

IME CXP33s and even the brick-profile RS80 C24s make a little bit of that noise, but you can't really hear it above the wind once you get to 20mph+.

I get more wom from my DA C24s than I do from my American Classic 58 carbons (supposedly undimpled OEM 404 rims?). As much as I love them, I've never quite gotten over the initital disappointment of going for my first ride on the 58s and just getting the seady rumblewhoosh rather than the wom.

From the wheels of the people I ride with, it's the Carbones that make the best noise.
