The only new parts are the cranks- and they are made of depleted uranium from the figures on my scales. Everything else is, quite honestly, parts I had already.
Once it's up and running then it might come to light that certain parts need replacing, and it would of course make sense to choose the replacement parts based on criteria that include weight amongst them.
