Whoever mentioned saddles making noises, just been driven mental by a metallic 'ticking' noise that sounded tinnier than cranks, was convinced it was another crack in my frame. Decided to live with it until something visually obvious showed it was that, but replaced my saddle during that time. Noise stopped, problem solved.
