Go sms interface looks nice.
I did away with Handcent on my desire. Still using the stock messaging app on my Galaxy s2.

I've been following it too and it has been confusing. It seems there are 2 phones coming out, and both have top specs. One is the 9300, which is the Galaxy S II Plus, and the other is the 9500, which is the Galaxy S III. That's what I think is going on.

It was just telling you that somethings going on, on may 3rd, which was known by those who knew it already.

I'm on tmob and still no ICS.
Tried scanning for it again.
I got mine within the last 30 mins spenceey, on the SGS II. Not happy that I have to recustomize my screens again, as all my apps were in folders. Folders now gone, so the laborious task has to be redone.

My apologies to all of you that wouldn't listen to my recommendation.

There is another superphone coming out, called the*** Motorola Droid Fighter***.
http://www.androidauthority.com/samsung-galaxy-s3-vs-motorola-droid-fighter-74565/
4.7 inch screen
13MP camera / f2.4 max aperture
Dual core (probably)
3,300 mAh battery -

4.7" is too big. HTC's One-S is a 4.3" which is about perfect but it's not the quad core guts that the One-X has and it has smaller battery. #donotwant
This fuckers need to leave large screens to tablets..

Epic battery. Win.

Maybe my hands are big hippy, but I'd never thought so before. But I do know that I won't buy any phone smaller than 4.7inches for as long as I can see. The Galaxy Note has just spoiled me, and now my SGS II looks way too small, and just doesn't feel very functional anymore.

I have big hands. I can use 4.7" but it's just getting a bit silly. With my finger under the bottom it becomes tricky to slide down the notifications bar. This annoys me. Things that annoy me tend to get thrown at walls.

Got ics now no idea what it adds thats new though. Font looks good though.

Poor Mal. I'm calling social services.

Just got me a Galaxy S 2 with ICS and I think the combination of both upgrades is really amazing. It's a joy to use and this is coming from someone who still carries a resentment of touch screens from the Sony Ericsson P800 days.

I don't like the way the Settings menu has changed in ICS, so the first thing I did was install this plane mode widget, so that I can go to plane mode in one touch, or back again to 3G/H+ again with one touch. It only takes up 1x1 space on the screen, so its perfect. A green bar is lit up at the bottom of the widget when its activated, so you will know just by glancing at the screen.

I hold power and use that menu, dunno if it's a cyanogen thing though, extended menus used to be.

yeah that's what I use too - I'm on the stock ics rom
So, I've had a play with a One-X now..
The screen is almost too big. Holding it with my little finger under the bottom edge (safety first folks) it's tricky to quickly catch and drag down the notifications bar. I have large hands.
It's fast.
They've removed the Settings button which pisses me off.
They've stopped the ability to spin around and around through all the home screens which pisses me off.
I'm sure there's more options in there that will do some other funky stuff but I don't have time to find them.
Notifications are a bit different. There's a bigger distinction between apps/widgets.
The DHD style keyboard arrows are back. Sweet!
Proper review..

I'll hang on to the Sensation for a big longer.
