Ok I think I'll try logging out and in again, as Strava seem to suggest trying this, at the moment I can't select the activity to export it.

• #578
export.
what?
-
• #579
Hmm. I can't seem to find the export function any more...
-
• #580
On the Android app, you can long click on an un-uploaded activity and select "export" to save it to your SD card, then select the file to upload from a page on the website.
I was in the middle of trying to do this and the activity I was having trouble with has finally decided to upload!
I've just done my first segments and I'm not last on either of them, so that's a result.

Looks like there is yet another unachievable (for me anyway) challenge on Strava. The nuun twice the tour.
any customer from SE20 Cycles who manages it will get 15% off Labour, parts and accessories for the whole of June.....

Just missed a tough little KOM early this morning.... by 1 sodding second!
http://app.strava.com/segments/1134853Don't know whether to be happy that I got 2nd or pissed that it wasn't a 1st...
Oh well, next time

It's a downhill stretch so it doesn't count anyway.
-
• #585
Yeah, it would be nice if strava changed it so segment leaders on downhill and flat sections got a different award than KOM.

KOG (gravity)?

Fattie fattie fat fat, or FFFF?

2380k in May is quite a lot if you're not riding audax, training for 24hrs, unemployed, etc.. all for a badge? The food bill for me after that mileage would be.. err.. lots.

...unemployed...
yeaaaaah!

Rowhan goes down, fast.
It's on his business card.

Used my trackbike to commute on for the first time today. Managed my 16 miles in 55 minutes on the way home, including a 19mph KOM on the main hill home and seeing a BMW ram a concertina-ing queue in the next lane to me on the stretch of dual carriageway just before it.
Need to adjust my cleats though :-/

Downloaded Strava today, and I can see how it can become addictive very quickly.
Cheshire is surprisingly competitive, I didn't realise how many other Stravengers there'd be round this part of the world. And I shot straight to number 3 for Norley Lane, despite my legs being tired from playing football last night.

there's nothing more annoying than giving it the beans on a particular segment only to get home and find strava has decided to ignore it completely. grrrr.
-
• #596
Think Strava is having an "I don't like Facebook integration" day.
-
• #597
Is Strava premium really worth it?
-
• #598
No
-
• #599
Only if you haven't paid for it (obtain a code, etc.)
I've had about a year of premium in 3 month bursts of free-ness and haven't really missed it now it's elapsed. -

I have no interest in comparing my performance on my KOMs to the people in the same age or weight category that are slower than me anyway.
Nah, it seems pretty resilient.
Once, it totally screwed up on me, but I was still able to manually export the saved ride and then manually upload it to the strava website.
