Couple more details: Has a front light (attatched when nicked) , rear light bracket, bar ends, and the lock is wrapped round the top tube (locked) as it was in a locked shed. Would really appreciate it everyone kept an eye out for this as my mate doesn't have a lot of cash and this is his work mule.

Dear Friendly Biking Folk
A couple of weeks ago I was burgled and two bikes were stolen from my home in Birmingham. The bikes are the following:
- Santa Cruz Blur LT2, custom build
- Rocky Mountain Vertex 30 2006 model, stock build except the saddle
A photo of the Santa Cruz is attached. The red cable routing and red Christ King headset are redeeming features. The bike includes the following components:
Frame, Santa Cruz blur LT2 size medium colour black yr 2009
Wheels, Mavic Crossmax SX yr 2008
Tyres, front Maxis Argent UST, rear Maxis Igniter UST
Front fork, Rockshox Pike 456 spring coil
Rear shock, Fox RP23
Brakes, front and rear Avid Juice 5
Cranks, Truvative Stylo
Rear derallieur, Sram X9
Headset, Chris King red
Seat post and saddle, SDG I-Beam systemUnfortunately I don't have a personnel photo of the Rocky, so attached is a stock image. A redeeming feature of the bike is a sticker on the seat tube that would say Mikes Bikes Service or something like that. Also, the rear brake and hub do make a funky noise! It has the following components:
Frame, blue size medium, 2006 model
Fork, Marzocchi Grand Fondo Race 2
Brakeset, Shimano Deore brakes, Shimano Deore dual control STI levers
Shift Levers, Shimano Deore dual control STI
Front Derailleur, Shimano Deore
Rear Derailleur, Shimano Deore XT
Crankset, Race Face Ride XC ISIS
Seat, Specialized wide-fitting approx 152mm
Hubs, Shimano Deore
Rims, Alex DP-17I have a police crime number for the burglary and in contact with the CID. If you come across these please contact me so I try and get my steads back!

My ageing Ridgeback Velocity stolen Sat 14th April from near All Saints Road, Notting Hill.
Paintwork showing the age somewhat. The bike is a few years old.
Frame size: extra small.
Full length mudguard fitted to the rear only.
Black** locking quick release** skewers on both wheels.Men's bike. However, it has the same colour paint as this bike:

Again, not my actual bike, just similar to this one. -

My mate has had his single speed conversion half inched from King's Cross...
It's a 1976 Flying Scot frame, distinctive Campag Victory crank with 42t ring, Shimano 105/Mavic Open Pro wheels, Shimano 600/brakes/levers/post and a slightly ugly gloss black no name stem on an ahead conversion. Ratty rattle can paint job in black, should have a black rack on the back secured with rubberised P-Clips also. Plenty of unique details-I also have a frame no as i put it together for him as a present when he moved to London and was totally skint and needed a way of getting around. Think it was 55 square. Will add a pic later if I can find one.
I found out from another friend as he is too gutted to tell me-if anyone sees it please get in touch asap-not holding my breath but would be damn nice if chance puts it in someone's path-if you stick a lock on it and call the rozzers i will buy you a brand new Kryptonite for your troubles. If you break the limbs of the scumbag riding it then all the better...
thanks very much

Will put this here too......
Can anyone point me in the right direction of how to report a suspected stolen item on ebay?
The report function is useless as it doesn't seem to let you explain the issue and won't let you report the item as stolen unless you are the law.
Item is the above whilst searching for geo info on the frame came across this.....
http://www.lbt.org.uk/cms/Forum/tabid/62/forumid/1/postid/4504/scope/posts/Default.aspx
Seems like the same item and seller is in Leeds.
I have emailed the webmaster on LBT website to contact the owner and want to cancel my bid on the bay but not sure whether sending a message to the seller is the right thing to do?

Well, it's been nearly 2 years since this little beauty was stolen and I still miss it like crazy. No bike owned since has come close or made up for it. The police recovered the wheels (the arrest of the suspect captured on camera by edscoble) but the frame has vanished. I've checked consistently since then but never seen a lo pro that looks like it on any of the forums or ebay/gumtree.
If anyone see's an unknown lo-pro frame (I imagine they've removed the Dave Hinde decal's and even maybe the chromo/paintwork) where the information is lacking or a bit suspicious let me know - there is still a huge reward up. Far more than the frame is worth. I'm a sentimental sod.

Looking for a re-unite here...
Hi man, my name is James. I'm new-ish to london, and today I bought a single speed bike.
After having a ride on it, I thought the price seemed to good to be true, so I took it to a bike shop. They told me the bike had to have been stolen, and that someone must have put a lot of TLC into it before it was pinched.
I've had my bike stolen before, so I know it sucks. I want to do the right thing and find its owner. The guy at the bike shop said they'd most likely be on here, so I was wondering if someone on the site would like to put up a post. I can provide a photo of the bike, and the bike guy showed me where the bikes serial number thing is - he said that the person who owns the bike would surely know this, as with other details.
Cheers man
If anyone recognises the attached bike and knows the serial number or other identifying features not in the photo... get in touch with me.

left for work this morning to find the shed door open and my mates raleigh mtb gone.
not in fantastic condition or even expensive but obviously he would like it back. It's a raleigh chinook almost identical to this one minus the bar ends, has a slimmer saddle and the mudguard is tied onto the frame with a bit of old wire.

No, I had a bike stolen too, it was painful for a bit, but you move on, you get another one. Its just a bike, nobody died, nobody was injured. "Missing it like crazy" just seems to be a bit over the top. Not intended as harsh, more tough love / medicine.

You should post this in the Birmingham forum. Pretty fancy bikes, sure to stand out in brum. Keep an eye on Gumtree and also the sunday car boot in the city centre.

I may be mistaken but the frame looks a lot like a resprayed fuji track, still with the stock truvativ cranks. Someone at beginners polo had a resprayed fuji track in that colour, but I can't for the life of me remember who it was. I'll cross post...

Just curious .
They got through a Kryptonite M18!
Did you see the lock after?
Are you sure he locked it with that lock!
try 15 seconds , thats about the time that lock takes to get off , i know because i'm a locksmith ,
you guys realy need to stop believing the advertising ,
what market is this? And how on earth can the market trader get away with fencing a track bike again? I can understand the scroats who stand on street corners in brick lane but a registered trader? The world is a joke.
