Friend is looking for her first proper film camera before going off to uni to do photography. She already has a digital slr and a Diana but she's after a second film camera.
What do people reckon for a first "proper" film camera? Not looking to spend crazy £50-£200 depending on what it is.
Was thinking it would be good to have something with a decent degree of control but I'm not sure what to recommend. A decent rangefinder? Basic SLR? Something with nice high contrast glass would be a bonus.
What did everyone here start with?
