Hampstead ponds are open (single-sex only), as discussed in another thread, in fact that's the only reason I've set foot in the Swimming thread, I got a bit excited about my first dip in years. Unheated but not really sure if they're the right place for distance swimming. The mens' pool looks enormous though. £3 a session.
