If you deliberately misquote me, it's bound to look wrong. What I actually said was
i.e. if you go into any ordinary fastener shop and ask for an Mxx fastener, what they will hand you will be the ISO Metric Coarse Pitch version.
By the way, standard coarse pitch on M6 is 1mm, not 1.25mm
