You've got to hand it to Wigan, shameful time-wasting and pitiful fanbase aside, they're a really admirable team. Looking at what they've got so far out of what looked like an impossible run-in, it's great what they've achieved and how they've gone about it. Makes you wonder why they can't find that sort of workrate and determination when their backs aren't against the wall.
Cynics or tinfoil hatters might suggest the betting company that sponsors them is encouraging them to continuously avoid relegation in ever more far-fetched ways to get money off everyone who writes them off halfway through the season.
