Hairnetic I've just had a look for you and it looks like there's a train from Spalding at 7am (check the Trainline), but you won't get into Kings X until 830 which is too late for the start BUT I reckon if the train stops at Alexander Palace or New South Gate, you could alight earlier and then take the little 6 mile ride over to the North London pickup and probably make it in time as the group passes by.
