    wired up an IP camera as a make shift ghetto security cam for office the other day, when looking for a power supply it stated its dietry requirements were 240v 2amp.... i'm sorry, come again? 2amp for what is essentially a farking web cam on end of a network cable? GTFO.

    And it was right, 10minutes later it was hotter than the average electric radiator. No idea what was actually inside it, but I guess just a big bugger off resistor, just for the sake of it.
