Swimming

I'd be fine with group lessons at a lido or leisure centre.
The beginners classes are for mrs jaw and through the leisure centre she'd be looking at least to spend £350 which to us is quite a lot.

Assuming you are in the London area, have you looked at swim london school courses ? They do adult courses.

You can pay by direct debit, which starts around £20 a month. They are very busy and lots of adults and children use the swim london school.

heres the link; search for your borough, pool etc, put in the age 16+, which will bring up all the adult courses. :)
