  • I understand your POV and I have mentioned it as I have been collecting signatures myself last week and will be at Hyde Park this week.

    I have been at stations and many people are late for a train and just ride past saying sorry, but if you were inspired to look and see what it was all about then it still worked.

    Quite a few people have been willing to stop and chat about it, which is really good, and plenty of people have taken flyers and said they'll get friends, colleagues, and family to sign up.

    It's not just about people who are already cyclists, it's about those people who want to be cyclists and people who care about cyclists. Not everyone who isn't on 2 wheels hates us (thankfully!), I have had many pedestrians come up and sign saying they want to help out their colleagues and friends who are cyclists and "it's about time money was spent on cyclists on something decent, not just blue lanes!" to quote one nice man.
