Being the skimming type (ahead of the curve for my demographic it seems) I haven't seriously investigated Wabi Sabi very much other than first coming across something approaching the idea of it while reading "The Most Beautiful House In The World" by Witold Rybczynski (highly recommended). After that I found a name for this appreciation for objects that show signs of careful and careless usage while perusing some of Grant Petersen's ramblings in the Rivendell Reader. Quite useless according to some of the sages on this forum, but sometimes opinion is a lot more fun than tru fax.
