Hose Pipe bans and Drought.
In the past month I've been enjoying the sunny warm weather. Its given me a taste of summer and what boat life in good weather is all about.
It's really good.
Somewhere though, in the not so far reaches of my mind I've been worried. Others on the river have mentioned it too. They're worried about where we're supposed to be for the Olympics, what it'll be like and they're worried about being trapped somewhere when the drought hits the canals.
It's a bit of a lottery.
I've just gotten my full canal licence and I'm keen to go explore the rest of the london system. But, I'm hesitant.
What if I'm out west and get stuck out there? When are the bans going to mean canal closure? Or will they?
I simply don't know.
I'm frustrated.
