I'm aiming to be at the Black Lion between 2.30-3pm Friday to decorate/set up/sort prizes/trophy/the PA. If there is someone to help me unload the van that'd be good.
Then I'll be going out to set up a couple of check points before parking up in the van at the Thirsty Scholar for 5pm.
I will have the manifests/maps/rules/megaphone for the registration crew. I will then ferry the marshalls/their equipment around to their checkpoints and go to mine.
The registration crew can advise via text on how many teams started the event so that the marshalls can can them through/leave when they have all completed their checkpoints.
The latest a marshall could remain at their post should be 8.45 (or 8.30 on the outlying checkpoints). We should all be back at the BL for 9 to exchange information with the judges to confirm winners etc. Although I will probably take my van home and get a bike - so I might not be back until nearer 10.
As agreed last night, we will not allow guests upstairs into the MHBP room until we are ready - so please keep the door shut until Emma gives the say so.
I have extra flyers which I will bring to polo tomorrow night for those who can keep on flyering on Friday.
A note on bike storage - we have access to the rear of the building for safe bike storage and if the numbers are high, we can also store bikes in the cellars.
