Almost completely useless picture:
The Cannondale is a lot lower at the front- lower than the Klein can ever be.
Bars and hoods make the Cannondale quite a bit longer, also.
I am sure it is something to do with this Stack and Reach business, but the Klein felt much more stretched out than the Cannondale, when they were both identical in terms of saddle to hood.
