Previous stem was also a negative, the picture may be deceptive.
Interestingly the distance from tip of saddle nose to top of hood was identical for the two bikes (Cannondale and Klein), with the old stem.
We now have 78cm nose to hood on the Cannondale and 74cm nose to hood on the Klein.
