I have this bike:
Old Cov Eagle, running a 10 speed set-up, (5x2), I have been riding it round E14 in a single speed for a few weeks and its fine, however I would rather remove the problem of gear mech, however I have no idea where to start?
I have a problem with the rear wheel in that the dish is not centering the wheel. IT runs true, but 1.5cm to the left as you look for the rear.
I am picking up a 700c wheel at the weekend with a deore hub/cassette, so what can I do to get this running single? Is it just something like this:

plus a chain, or do I need something else? the drop outs are horizontal, or near as damn it.
