Oh my, just wet myself............. lovelylovelylovely

  • Look at the angle of that top tube, you will need a seat belt to hold you on, but, I do like the frame though, I remember back in the late 80's when they made a showing in N.I. I really wanted one but didn't have any money. I ended of getting a M. Hall frame with tear drop tubing Ooooooooooooooh what a frame that was, I did 56 min. 25 milers in thoes days in N. Ireland.

  • Just noticed the cable routing... jeebus wept.

  • Look at the angle of that top tube

Top tube angle is exaggerated by the laid back seat tube. If you look at the head tube length, and the fact that it has a 700 front wheel, the front isn't really that low. Must have been built for somebody very tall. It's a shame the original gear lever seems to have gone missing; the rest is easy to rescue (change pedals and stem, route cables properly), but the boss brazed on the top of the down tube is for these rare and delicious Suntour levers (or the Cyclone II version)

  • My Rossin EL-Performance pursuit track monsta:

I decided on a semi-classic build, so no risers or deep H+Sons on this one. I even managed to get the super-rare 3TTT 51.151 bullhorns for it (cheers, miglos from yksivaihde.net):

Oh, and thanks to Harry.Major for the Phils + CXP14s and to Pistoffski for the Flite.

did you have the original fork ?

  • No he didn't, I believe he saved it from death.. it was build om ridiculous. Now looking lovely though!

  • so forum opinion mean shit to you, right?

  • did you have the original fork ?

Wish I had, but no. As nutsjesmoar said, it was build up as a complete disaster.

I guess I could have had a similar fork custom made by Orlowski or some bike craftsman in Finland, but that would have meant custom handlebars as well, since I haven't seen bullhorns like that anywhere.

A build with a Tachyon style fork with standard bullhorns wouldn't cut it for me:

you should try GASTON FR technique

  • Shamless plug, but sadly I have to let this go .......... http://www.lfgss.com/thread83191.html
