Booking.com was recently informed by the authorities of Radda in Chianti that a new city tax will become payable on reservations staying from 6.04.2012.
This will apply at a different rate according to the type of accommodation.
All guests from 14 years old staying overnight in Radda in Chianti must pay this tax, from 6.04.2012.
Unused valid reservations are also subject to the tax.
It is the responsibility of the lodging industry to ensure that this tax is collected from all guests and passed to the city of Radda in Chianti.
