It's probably best to explain also that GA2G promotes the courier Berlin, not the normal courier twin rail.
I agree a tyre used on a SS should not go through like that at all.
I would always suggest marathon plus tyres for anyone who wants a fit and forget tyre (my rear lasted a year with skidding.)
