After being kicked out of Williams (what the hell was Frank thinking? Apparently he would have fired him even if he had won every race) Hill should have taken a McLaren drive at any price, rather than chasing the money by signing for Arrows. He would probably have won a second championship.
But you can understand his decision. At Williams he was still on basically a test driver's contract and salary.
