Possibly because Damon Hill was always the more grounded person. He worked as a motorcycle courier for a little while for Hornets Couriers (I was a pushie for them later), when money was tight, and Damon had to earn a crust for his young family. A regular bloke, with an uber-famous dad, who became a world champion. Yes, I prefer Damon too.
