Yes, you have a point. I have done stuff like that to my own pics, and others have done stuff too (such as the caption competition) and I am usually fine with it. But there is a difference between me choosing what to do with my pics and just having it as a free-for-all for anyone to use them. Just like you might do with the films you make.
I can see your point and in retrospect maybe I should have just left the picture of you as it was, as a part of the evening like any other shot. Or chosen not to include it at all, which I thought about, but that seemed like censoring things. I tried, and clearly in your eyes and maybe in other people's eyes, failed to diffuse it by making it in to a joke. It wasn't my intention to stir anything; I try to keep out of arguments on here.
I can see why a picture of you losing your rag could embarrass you and I respect your point of view on how I used it.
